An adaptation of China Miéville’s novel, David Morrissey plays protagonist detective, Tyador Borlú. The aging city of Beszel and ultra-modern city of Ul Qoma co-exist by their citizens establishing a learned behaviour of totally not perceiving the other city and its people. But when young woman is found dead, Beszel-citizen Borlú discovers that he is going to have find a way to get around his lifelong lack of perception of UI Qoma in order to find her killer.
