Pound Puppies, a Canadian/American animated series, about a group of dogs bestowed with humanlike intelligence. Together with a group of squirrels, they operate a secret and highly sophisticated underground facility beneath the pound, aimed at finding new owners for dogs brought to Shelter 17. They rely on their first motto, "A pup for every person, and a person for every pup".
