MacGyver

It was okay. Never watched the original so I can't compare. It had a decent start and I am waiting to see more before deciding if it is worth watching. Love George Eads, though.

I really hope that I come back to this and change it to 5 stars. I was such a fan of MacGyver growing up, and so excited about this, and then....

Overlays and over definitions. It felt more like discovery for kids than a prime time show. Very, very sad.

I maybe saw like 2 episodes of the original show. So far the only thing that I have found interesting in George Eads. I may change my mind on other stuff eventually...

I have watched the orginial series and this doesn't come close. They made this MacGyver an expert in everything with judo, Krarate and of course the smart stuff. I am sure he will just pick a gun and be expert on that.

That was fun.

The original MacGyver kept his first name of Angus a tightly held secret till the final season. They gave it up right away this time and I guess they would have had to as it was already out there from the first series.

MacGyver also had a male nemesis in the original and it looks as though this time around it will be the ex-girlfriend Nicki.

It's going to be fun to watch how this new version develops.
