Filmmaker Nina Davenport decided a decade ago that she wanted to be a mom. Despite a series of boyfriends since, none have stuck. After spending years adoring her niece and nephews, 41-year-old Nina feels she is ready to have a child of her own – on her own. In 2006, Nina’s mother suddenly passed away. This great loss is a huge part of why Nina wants a baby – to experience that close bond once again, this time from a parent’s perspective.
