CSI: Miami is a spin-off of the popular CBS network series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Like the original CSI, CSI: Miami is a police procedural about a team of forensic scientists. Suddenly, instead of simply whodunit, solving crimes is now a matter of howdunit. It is set in present-day Miami and Miami Beach, Florida.
I can really get into a good procedural. I enjoy the predictability of crime-process-solution but perhaps that is because I enjoy the often witty writing of the dialogues for these shows. Yes, it is a thing to think up the new odd combo of characters to play off each other, and frequently with odd personality quirks or even powers, but that too is a lot of fun. Enjoy!!! Personally, I would love to see a few of these come back.
