This show is great! Definitely one to watch if you like superhero, action or drama centered TV shows... The show is structured amazingly, as it both follows a plot in the present, as well as in the past through flashbacks of the years that Oliver was "missing". There is a good balance of action and drama. Each episode tends to have something interesting happening and often ends with cliffhangers to keep us all interested to watch the next weeks episode.
This is one of the first shows that I started watching! It is one of my absolute favorites, yet it pains me say that I think its time for it to end soon. After the "original" characters began to leave the show, the show began less and less interesting. After Cristina's recent departure, I don't think that show will survive it! It's true that over the years, more and more characters have been introduced who we have grown to love, yet it's time to admit that the show has simply strayed from what it was in the first few seasons to become something completely different. The doctors who were once young and were competing with one another, are now much older and much more drama free... A lot of the drama is now down to the new interns, who in my opinion cannot sustain enough good drama to keep the show original and interesting. Although I will never stop watching until the very end, at some point the show needs to conclude, before it gets stuck being associated with its reputation from the past few seasons, instead of the great show that it once was.
Sad to see its ending!! I've been a dedicated fan of this shows since it first began... To be honest, it wasn't that much of a surprise to me, as the recent season has not lived up to the greatness that came with the first few seasons. Overall though, this is one of the best alien invasion shows... After having watched a few, I thing this show is quite a touching story about the Mason family and it has been a lovely journey to watch them during their struggles in the "new" world.
When I first started watching this show, I assumed it would be the typical sad story of a cancer patient, yet this was not the case. It is great to watch, as we get to go on this journey with April and her loved ones. Its also great, because her cancer is not the only plot of the show! There are other things like her half-sister and the life of Brenna that we are able to also become involved with. I would say this is one of the better ABC Family shows and I would definitely agree that this is one of the more realistic shows.
One of the first scifi shows I watched and one of the better ones. Although it concluded years ago, I would definitely recommend this to people.
I always find myself laughing when I watch this show - Definitely a different area for comedy!
Despite being cancelled early, I liked it! It did make me laugh and I though the strange dynamic of the giant family worked well in the comedy. Even though it's cancelled, I would recommend it to anyone in need of a laugh- you don't even need to watch all the episode or watch them in order.
This show is HILARIOUS! Each character brings something different to the precinct and blended together its so funny. I would recommend this to comedy lovers- you don't even need to watch them in order necessarily, if you want a laugh just put on a random episode
Seasons 1-2 were (in my opinion) much better than the recent ones. Over time its become less and less about revenge on all of the people involved and more and more about Emily's drama with the Graysons. Also, they need to stop killing off characters-that many dead bodies would definitely cause suspicion.... They should stop resurrecting people too!
All my criticism aside though-- I do like the show and you do become invested in some of the characters. I would recommend this to hardcore drama fans.
I must say that this show has evolved from its first few seasons. I see the show becoming more and more about politics and less about lawyers, but I'm ok with this. I like how most of the main characters have stayed the same, because you really get emotionally invested in their stories. I enjoy watching every week.
