The bringing to life of the stories of Esther a mill worker who lived and worked at Style Mill. This gives the ordinary people a voice and does it with the tact and flair required without the unnecessary frills to sell it. This show sells itself on its understanding of people and the past.
Good drama set around the Medical Examiners office and the cases which are brought to her. She is a stickler for the truth and answers. This makes for easy watching with some suspense, fantastic story lines and humour.
A period drama about the beginnings and opening of Chester Zoo. This shows how the zoo came into being the problems that it faced. A brilliant period drama piece which is well acted and staged
The spin off series of The Vampire Diaries, give an insight into the world of the original vampires in New Orleans. This is a great spin off and a great show in its own right, with plenty of supernatural drama
No Likey No Lighty! A cheesy but brilliant TV dating show where 30 single women can turn off their lights for the men that dont take their fancy and can be picked to go on a date on the Isle of Fernando's
Funny TV adaptation of the film. I really enjoyed this although it was quite predictable. Good for the feel good factor and for a weekend binge
Good feel good TV which is perfect for a weekend binge :) only 18 episodes which is a shame because more series would have been great
One of the best drama comedy's of all time! Everyone can relate to the characters and their struggles and everyone knows at least one woman who is each of the female leads. This programme tackles some really difficult subject areas but also is jam packed full of hilarity
This was a great light hearted comedy which had some great story lines. Following the life of a teenager who is forcced to move from the big city to 'Suburgatory' after her father finds condoms in her draw. Life in the suburbs is not what she had planned for her teen years! It should never have been cancelled!
This is one of my favorite shows! The way in which each series is different but uses a lot of the same body of actors is such a fresh new take. This does have some serious scare factor though so be prepared to sleep with the light on!
