A brilliant adaptation of the books! This show is really good at highlighting life in the 1960s and as a midwife of that time.
This show is a little slow to start but picks up in episode 3. Bear with it, it gets good. I'm hoping for a second season
A Marvel series with an extremely strong female lead. It feels very Marvel when you're watching it and although maybe not as good as some of the other Marvel series it has room to grow and develop. It has very watchable and likable characters and is easy watching
Originally I thought, that sounds awful! but after giving this show a go I wouldnt look back! Its brilliant and easy watching with funny elements as well as slightly darker undertones. A huge hit with me
A great take on the Salem witch trials with well thought out characters and story line. It falls somewhere between period drama, fantasy and reality
An adaptation of Bram Stokers Dracula which in theory was set to be brilliant although it lacked some of the vampire spark it made up for some of this through unique imaginings and reinventions of some of the characters. Well worth a weekend binge
After the earth has been destroyed and people have lived in space for a small eternity 100 people are sent down to earth to see if it is once again inhabitable...
Brilliantly dark and twisted (in the good way) this series set in Victorian England pulls in all the monsters from all the classics. From vampires to possession. Maybe not one to watch just before going to bed
Fantastic fantasy show based on the legend of King Arthur
A good adaptation of the book. I wasn't sure at first but it has really grown on me as a series. Some of the acting isn't great but if you take it for what it is - an adaptation of a fantasy series - you'll see that its good easy watching cheese
