The costume design is gorgeous and the story is exciting, what more could you ask for? A strong female lead in a sexist environment. Agent Carter is all I ever wanted and if I don't get a season 2 I will be devastated. It's been long since I've been this much in love with a show. Straight up to my all time favorites.
I haven't read the books, so I can say my impression of this tv-show is unbiased to the "real" story. With that said, I love this show. It's not many shows that have me this excited to watch it, and with the current events, I can only say the plot gets even more exciting. This show has interesting and complex characters, LGBTQ representation and a lot of post-apocalyptic bad ass tropes. It also has space. :D
Since I watched the movie From Dusk till Dawn, I've always wanted a continuation of the story. There were so many hints to a bigger plot in the ending and I was really sad that we had nothing more. Until they announced the tv series, and I'm telling you it doesn't let down, not even does it continue the story, the first season that plays out over the time of the movie has more in-depth story and plot than we could wish for. It's just really an amazingly exciting tv show and I love it to pieces. The second season left us with quite a surprising turn of events and I can't wait to see what happens. This show has only made me love all the characters even more.
When I first heard they were making this show I was very excited. Time travel and superheroes, what more could you ask for in a show? Also having Captain Cold as a regular character is a big plus because that means we can enjoy his sass and smirks every episode. Only after watching a few episodes this show became one of my favorites. I really hope it keeps up the excitement for many seasons to come.
Angel is a much more darker series than Buffy. You should just prepare yourself for a big sob fest, and if things ever seem happy, then you just know shit is gonna go down. Angel's curse of never finding happiness is always lurking in the background.
I love this series so much also because it gives Cordelia a chance to shine. She might start out as the spoiled rich kid she was in Buffy, but she has such a character development you will just love her.
Everything about this show breaks my heart. It also have one of the best intros ever.
One of my all time favorite shows. It's really a shame that it only has 2 seasons, because it had so much more potential and deserved so much better.
Cyberpunk tv-shows are hard to come by and this one is really good. Definitely worth a watch.
For you who craves more there are 2 novels written that are set after the events of season 2. They are meant to be some sort of conclusion but they totally ruined the story and it ended in such an anti climatic way that maybe it's just best to create your own ending in your head.
It has a strong female lead, strong female friendships and good lgbtq characters.
