My Dad and I bonded over watching Columbo together. It brings back happy memories. The premise of the show itself was amazing - a middle class, cigar smoking, seemingly room temperature IQ detective solving mysteries of the upper crust while always showing being respectful and kind. So many of the episodes have humorous and quotable lines too.
