What an epic show! I will be deeply sorry to say good bye to this one. It has all the right ingredients to keep me hooked till the very end.
There are things about this show that I like and things I don't. I like that they executed a fresh idea in an original manner. I also like that the casting is so diverse. But at the same time it feels that there might be too many members: 8 people for the 8th sense. That being said I confess that I would have a hard time eliminating any one of the characters as they and their stories are all engrossing.
I also don't like the needlessly graphic parts of the show. But that's just my opinion.
While I enjoyed watching the show, I'm not sure whether I will be watching the next season. However, Capheus and Sun may just pull me back for a second season.
This is one show whose main story line I don't find all that appealing. However, every time I tell myself that I would stop watching because the show is getting too predictable-Savy falling for Harry=great way to complicate things (plus, I really liked Scott), it would hook me in with some unforeseen plot twist or just by the way they develop situations on the show. So all-in-all a good job.
I have been really struggling to watch this show till its very end and the only reason I have persisted is because I know that it is going to end in a couple of episodes. I cannot believe that they dragged out this show as much as they did. It could have had a much more satisfying and engrossing ending, but I guess that was not to be...
So far I have seen all the episodes and they have left me disappointed. The story line does not seem very interesting and the mystery behind Josh Duhamel's transfer to Battle Creek just does not seem to be that intriguing. I will watch a few more episodes. Maybe...
This show has an unexpected obsession appeal for me. I watched both the seasons by staying up all night: I just couldn't stop myself from watching the next episode! The story line is superb and the unique way this show portrayed the mindset of a serial killer is enlightening and eye-opening. A must watch for all those who like crime-based stories, however, it isn't for the faint-hearted. So beware!
For me, this show is an effective way of killing time if the only other alternative is to be killed by boredom. The only reason I am sticking with it til the end is because a) I am bored, and b) I just have one more season to watch to end this madness forever...
When I began watching the show, I was just looking for something fresh to kill time with as a show about cancer was bound to be too depressing to be watched regularly, right? I was proven wrong as this show explores the difficulties of dealing with cancer while dealing with life itself. Hence, the name I suppose. It is a good show for anyone who knows at least one person battling-or having defeated-cancer. One of those shows that puts everyday problems in perspective.
Initially I was hooked on the show. All the references to the 90s were awesome but the ending to explain the big mystery was just not convincing enough. Why did Kate blame Jeanette on live TV and lie about it? She could have easily left then and she did so why was she expecting to be rescued when she did not need rescuing. Also are we supposed to feel sympathy for the pedophile here? Seems like they tried to paint everyone in a bad light with a "there were no innocent victims" approach. How is this show going to get a second season is beyond me...
