Hii! This is me trying to keep up with everything I watch. Enjoy the ride if you want :) P.S. I untrack shows I've finished (except favourites). Who knew we could only track 500 shows?! ;)
Heartbreaking, gruesome, powerful, strong. Must watch for everyone.
Watch this show, even if it is solely to marvel at the final tidying up of loose ends in the finale.
When I watched the first episode I would have never guessed I would relate so much to the characters. Heck that episode even felt a little dull, but in 4 episodes this show made me feel like I had known these characters for ages. Had loved them for ages. I don't know how they did it. If it was the writing or the acting or the directing, but they made me like, relate, and care for these characters. Even the ones my instinct said were odd. I think I will be picking up the book this summer (I tried before and had trouble getting through the first chapter). Maybe this time, when I already know the characters, I will get into it. If not, I just watch this show again ;P
[update]
Well I'm still mad that this show was cancelled. I guess I now have an answer for some questions, but ugh... I have some new ones. Watch this show. It is fun, fast paced, full of emotion & it shows great acting (F yeah Laverne!). Sigh, I guess this one goes in the "I will hypothesize several endings myself"-pile ;)
[review after the first 2 episodes]
I am so sad they cancelled this show. It is fast paced, granted some times a bit too fast. It is also witty, emotional and even in the two episodes it showed progress (I rated episode two 5 stars). Also I am already half way infatuated with some of the characters (Laverne's character & I am super intrigued by Sadie's mom). This would have had a potentially bright future and I will be forever irritated by not knowing the ending of this story.
This show is amazing! It has great music, an amazingly charismatic lead actor, a female badass character, and a great amount of character development! If you love Sherlock and House snark I would definitely recommend this (there is no hospital chit chat however). Great end! I'm hopeful the next season will be just as great :D
I love this show. Peggy is badass, independent, and smart. On top of all that she is also really stylish (I would steal for those dresses) and played by an amazing actress! Hayley Atwell really makes Peggy Carter come alive for me and I adore every minute I get to watch of this amazing combination. James D'Arcy also portrays Jarvis perfectly. He is the perfect mix between the AI we all love (the snark is amazing) and a completely new character (because really, AI JARVIS is the Tony Stark retelling). The perfect cherry on top is the surprise Rose (Lesley Boone) brought to the second season :D
I really am hoping they will make a season 3, but even if they don't, these two seasons were absolutely wonderful & I hope Marvel will create and bring to life many more amazingly kick ass women!
I thoroughly enjoyed this show (great storylines, great acting, I loved the premise), but maaann that ending was a bummer. I'm really sad that this show didn't get a third season, because we all really need to know what would have happend after season 2.
Extremely powerful, heart wrenching, and inspiring. I definitely recommend this to everyone, even if you don't like true crime or mysteries. Addictive, brilliant, and hopefully a show I will remember for the rest of my life. Don't let powerful institutions tell you you can't make a difference and you can't fight for what is right.
I really really love this show. Yes it has had great episodes and some were not so great, but overall the quality stayed up. The main reason I love this show is how realistic they portrayed the discovery period of what your sexuality is and who you are attracted to. It is a journey, especially for women. Especially season 3 highlighted that. The confusion that comes with being attracted to other girls whilst being attracted to guys as well is portrayed brilliantly. The end was a bit lame, I admit, but I am grateful for the closure. I will miss this show.
This show has grabbed me from the first episode! I know the writers have made some mistakes, but I do feel they are getting better and better. Every end of an episode made me excited for the next, especially so this second half of the season.
Jaimie Alexander (Jane) is really good in this & I have grown seriously attached to Kurt (Sullivan Stapleton) and Patterson (Ashley Johnson) [who knew waitress Beth would make such an amazing genius?!]. Also, shout out to Rob Brown (Edgar)! I can't believe I haven't watched more of your work since "Take The Lead".
I can't wait to see what they will do next! :D
Shit ton of drama. Some times it is a little slow, but overall good trash TV
