The entire first episode, all I kept thinking was, what the @#% am I watching.. but in a good way. I am hooked. I am still very confused about the opening.. vikings.. a ship load of people.. the whole beach scene then BOOM.. prison. Color me captivated.
A big old bucket of entertainment.. fun story - love the documentary comment too. It'd be great if this one got more seasons.
no no no no.. only 13 eps for the final season?????? the others were all 20+ and there's now no blurb for 13.. just watched 12 and OMG.. noooooooooooo
There has not been a show that I've looked forward to in a decade as Orphan Black. Tatiana should be winning ALL the awards - I never see an actress when watching her - just the characters (well maybe the boy clone) So sad that season 5 will be the last.. but man, with an actress like that - this show gives me life!
June cannot get here fast enough
I have people that keep asking me when the clone show comes back.
That reference to a decade.. I don't think there's ever been anything on TV I've wanted to watch as much.
More Helena please! My favorite clone
I'm all in on this one - but what's with only 4 episodes???!!! comon now syfi.. pick it up
dark comedy WIN!!!! only 4 eps in the can.. nooooooooooo
potential here
I am at least learning things.. things like I want nothing to do with regency, rustic, mid-century modern and concrete in a house.
Someone needed to make a decision about if this is a comedy or not.. potential for good adolescent belly laughs but they didn't pull it off in this episode. There were a couple of grins but nothing to write home about for me.
Maybe they'll get better as they get to know their characters better. The two goof balls at the helm did their jobs.. well.. the rest.. meh.
The SFX are fun .. the sets.. ho hum, like Epcot center's view of the future when it opened but more minimal.
Now if, in the next episode, there are tribble look alikes.. I might be hooked.. give me a little squeaky furry thing and I'm in.
Loved this one.. esp with the epilog I found somewhere. The 3 minutes they added to the end really gave the viewers a good ending to the series
I wrote a review a couple days ago.. I guess it got nuked. This show has excellent promise but for the constant and over the top political bashing. The actors, especially Christine Baranski are so much better than the writers. If they'd do more with the story and stop wasting precious little air time with constant reminders of the current administration and just let the viewers escape into the show, it would improve vastly.
