The very first show that scared and scarred me from just watching the first episode... I am starting to like Margaret Atwood's work but this one seems far to depressing for me right now and I have seen really tough shit in my life... Will there ever be... less dystopian? 'Cause I've seen A LOT. And this is serious question to you all.
I've never seen more beautiful series about family, relationships, happiness, pain and forgiveness. If they don't pick it up for next season, I will boycott all NBS's shows forever!
Dare me!
I'm appaled. Canceling show after few episodes? No wonder you have poor ratings. Shame on you, TNT! That's why I always wait a few episodes before watching to see if it'worth even starting. Probably I'm not an exeption. Keep on the good work and see where it leads you. Shame you greedy basta#%&. I'm rating you, not the show.
Too short for my taste and I began to feel hungry for more... Should it be rewritten, expanded, renewed or left alone? Got me intrigued but I can't go on a wild goose-history chase every time a 'based upon real events ' show gets a green light...
I watched first 4 episodes. From the start something felt off. Don't you see it is a poor rip off Stephen King's "IT"? Some of you mentioned "Stranger Things" as an inspiration, well ST is an awesome tribiute payed to King's and many other horror /mystery/supernatural dramas, everything is intertwined, even the soundtrack for example outtakes from John Carpernter's movies or even 19th hundred's writers' works such as Lovecraft, Mary Shelley etcetera. "Darkness" pulls you in, because it tricks you to be new, once again reinvented IT, then you see poor writing, poor acting and you ask yourselves, where they will go from here and for me fourth episode was sad realization it is just stolen shiny goods... Rip offs make me aangry and dissapointed, so I left it for now. Please tell me, why it is worth watching to the end, I dare you ☺
