The Rookie

Nathan Fillion inserts himself very well in this new role. Seeing that in his previous series and other things that he's done make him a true jack of all trades. The cast and crew of The Rookie work so well with each other and makes you want more after every episode; the mid season premiere closes off the 2 part episode started last year.
Great action, good empathy, good acting and lessons in life. All around good fun and entertainment.

It is slow to start and you need to get used to the "new" characters. The original comic was also a bit confusing but that was it's appeal.
Once it starts going you do not want to stop watching since it twists around and the way it has been presented becomes clear and you cannot stop watching. Regina King is fantastic, as is the complete cast.

It started of as an oddity then the connections being made between Star Wars: revenge of the Sith and A new Hope became apparent. The characters themselves make you want to follow the series and unlike Clone wars has a lot of changes to them, they grow, fade, change and transform.
I would recommend to watch all 4 seasons and the lessons learned are true to the Jedi order and the Force. Many questions shall be answered and tying in to open questions about Rogue one and The Force Awakens.

Think of Thomas Crown meets the Mentalist. A good story line with more than sufficient twists and turns to keep you hooked, very well laid out and not too far fetched too be too much fiction. Predictable end yet well crafted eniugh not to disappoint. Very worthwhile watching.
