I saw Jessica Jones before this one, so I already knew a couple of things. However, I wasn't prepared for how dark (and scary) DD would be. Stopped midway though and wondering if it's worth it to go on.
Imagine the creepy science fiction version of The Americans.
The vibe of Stranger Things seems up to point with the era and the fit with the science fiction is amazing. First couple of episodes you'll be scared as heck, but as the story unravels, the science explanations will make it seem a bit less scary.
P.S. The kids in this series are the reason I'm sticking through. Go Dustin!
Deeply girly and pointless series. If you're looking to get asleep, it's perfect though. The only reason it gets three stars is because of the effort they must have put into this despite it being a very boring series.
Not for everyone. I hadn't seen the movie so I was a bit lost at times but the acting was good, the story decent and the general impression is of a very interesting series.
I keep expecting that every episode will be better but every time they end, I feel like I've wasted my time. The Flash and the Arrow are way better mostly because they keep to a more specified target group while LoT are all over the place and by trying to please everyone they lose. They are failing every week to whatever they do and have to end up cleaning their messes... I like the different time scenes, and the funny interactions are all what make me return and watch it time after time...
It's certainly great for older YA who wish they are still plain teenagers in Hogwarts.
Surprisingly funny and so relatable! I just started watching it and I may bing watch it, it's so cool!
The stories of the 8 and the way they each has a unique set of skills that benefits all is so cool! Best original series I've seen and to top it off, the songs they use are a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I'm not usually a fan of oldies but the whole vibe is making me love them!
(please don't watch the series if you are a homophobic and then review it)
I can't wait for season 2!
It was far from the books as the storyline goes, but still managed to become a great show. I wish they hadn't cancelled it!
After the end of Season 2 it kind of got boring, and now Victoria's Revenge? No! I'll be watching this show only to see what is going on with Emily/Amanda's father...
