Half & Half

I was so sad when this show was canceled. Each character had their own personality, the story lines never came out as dull (not to me anyways), and it was nice to see a show with mainly people of color... my how times have changed.

I absolutely positively love this show. Each episode features famous and non famous black marriages. The best part is that the relationships range from newlyweds to couples together for 30+ years. All the insight you get on what a marriage is, how to move on after an affair, life with kids... just everything from different people is so amazing. I'm so glad that we have a show like this it's often stereotyped that the black community doesn't have healthy long lasting marriages and this show you see that it isn't true.

Rebel

This show, to me, is like an adult's version of Veronica Mars. Rebel is a no nonsense kinda cop with a small group of people willing to help her solve the reason behind her brother's killing and the other cases she finds as a P.I. I like how this show haves a lot of relevant things to today while also making you wondering just how far you'll go to find out the truth and how willing are you to do the right thing. There is swearing and brief sexual situations so this is not for the little ones. Besides that, I love trynna figure out a good whodidit with this show you know the who now you gotta figure out why. Realistically idk how long this format can last but I know I'll enjoy every moment.

Ghost Brothers

This show is probably the funniest and scariest paranormal shown that has ever been made. The brothers (they're best friends) do go to real hunted places but they sometimes use... unusual... methods to talk to ghost. It's seriously scary at times but the funny comments and pranks make things less scary.

I really like this show, it's all true stories of people who were determined to find out what happened to their friends or love ones by any means necessary.

Girlfriends

This show is everything!! To me it's like Living Single 2.0. If you never seen either it's a show featuring 4 successful black women who are best friends but each has their own personality. This is the type of show where it wasn't necessary to watch every episode to get it. I just hate how it ended so suddenly and still hope they would do a movie or something to close the plot holes. It's must watch in my book

Escaping Polygamy

One of the most craziest reality shows I've ever seen. Escaping Polygamy follows sisters as they help other people escape being in different polygamist groups in Utah. I like that this is a show you can literally start watching out of nowhere (like I did one late night) and not be lost. The craziest thing though is realizing just how much is allowed to go in these groups.

This show was and still is absolutely hilarious. Watching this as a child I didn't always get the jokes but as an adult it's crazy seeing how funny it was and how much they got away with. It's also cool to me to see kinda how the greats started (Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx... the list goes on). Though if you get offended easily don't watch this show literally made fun of everyone.

Grease: Live

Ehh while I appreciate them keeping the dialogue and outfits true to the late fifties-early sixties that Grease was set in, everything seemed forced. And all the people who were picked came off as unnatural to me.

Omg does no one remember this show?? This was the first time I ever saw Christina Vidal. There was nothing like this back in the days, a young Latino girl who just wanted to be famous, it's a shamed it was cancelled for being a "girl show". The theme song itself made my life and even now watching Code Black it's good to see a teen star who grow up and stayed humble.
