An absolutely enchanting and exciting show with an incredible cast! It boasts two of my all-time favourite actors, the wonderful David Tenant and the gorgeous Aidan Turner, as well as the endearing Katherine Parkinson (IT crowd) and the lovable Danny Dyer. It is a MUST WATCH
This show is like the lovechild of Pushing Daisies, The Umbrella Academy and Supernatural. It's entertaining, includes relevant social commentary and features the always riveting Michael Sheen and the eternally likable David Tennant in characters that showcase their great talents. Definitely worth watching! =)
Easily the best talk show on TV. Graham is hilarious, asks interesting questions, includes all guests and is wonderfully sassy. He seems to bring out the best in his guests, to the point where he's had on celebrities I usually wouldn't like or pay any attention to and by the end I like them. The setup with having most of the guests on at once is not just unique but also so much more interesting and dynamic and he always manages to find links between the different celebrities so they have something in common and it feels somewhat cohesive. The Red Chair game at the end is always fun and he has on some fantastic musical guests. I've discovered a lot of great artists because of the show. A truly wonderful show that has been going on for years and years and hopefully many more to come.
This was such a comforting show, what a pity they cancelled it. The relationship between father and daughter was beautiful to see unfolding and it was consistently exciting.
Not unique, quite inconsistent, but certainly entertaining and a little bit cute. The young kid is adorable and the main character is a trainwreck but a likable one. Alba the housemaid on the other hand is just another useless, incredibly boring, stereotypical, unrealistic, badly written, unwatchable character. I'm a sucker for shows about kids dealing with awful parents so I do enjoy it, but not everyone will find this worth watching.
Great acting, decent writing, well fleshed out characters and Timothy Dalton is definitely a standout. However, sometimes it doesn't feel like you're watching entertainment as it gets so depressing and dark at times. It's super weird, in a fun sort of way and you just want to see the characters succeed and be happy but it feels hopeless a lot of the time. Sometimes it feels like this show is holding you hostage because the characters have been through so much you feel the need to know how it turns out so you keep watching just for that. season 3 was already difficult to watch and I stopped at season 4.
A likable show that could be a lot better. There are definitely enough entertaining elements to make it watchable, though it does feel like this show was made for kids. It's sweet, childish, silly, fun and weird, as with anything Noel Fielding does. It features the very talented Hugh Bonneville and the wonderful Tamsin Greig, who are both really fun to watch. The children are great actors too. Worth a watch if you enjoy adventure, fantasy, and character driven plots.
The wonderful Robson Green is perfect in the role of the brilliant and strange neurodivergent psychologist with a horrific list of childhood traumas to his name. There are parts of the show where you’ll feel like you’re not quite intelligent enough to follow what’s going on. I wish there was more humour to it, in order to balance out the dark and disturbing parts, but unfortunately it is a little one-dimensional so you have to be in it for the other aspects. It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea and it is more grim than the average police procedural… but it is still top tier thanks to the writing and Robson Green’s performance.
If it wasn't for Timothy Olyphant I wouldn't have bothered with this show. The first season wasn't exactly great, but it really did pick up in season 2. The writing got really good and I started actually caring about some of the characters a lot more. Joel and Eric are very sweet and likable characters and they definitely make this worth watching. I tend to just look away or mute it at the more gory parts because it really is disgusting in a puke-inducing sort of way. The undead wife is kind of annoying to be honest. She's definitely funny and relatable at times, but other times her character has just detracted from the enjoyment of the show, as it seems to be everything and everyone else that makes it fun to watch. There are heaps of plot twists and you definitely won't know where each episode will take you. All in all, it's definitely worth watching for the character arcs, interesting interactions and unpredictable story lines.
Fantastically funny, heart-warming and relatable! SO many wonderful moments and the feels hit you just as hard as the laughs. Will Smith's personality and energy shines through so much in this show and his relationship with Uncle Phil is beautiful to watch. Definitely worth watching, especially for younger audiences.
