I don't even know what I'm doing here but I guess this stuff is sorta fun. I like reviewing stuff but it's really difficult for me to give stuff bad marks ya know? Getting there though, just will take a while. Aside from being bad at reviewing I like talking to people so if you wanna chat/fangirl over TV shows or whatever hmu, I don't bite.
I speak for the people who have no idea about the Archie comics and who haven't gone through having their childhood ripped to pieces through the process of watching it turned into a show. The show's a good one, I never thought I'd get into a teen murder mystery kind of show but holy moly this turned that prejudice upside-down. Maybe I only like it because I went in with low expectations, maybe it's actually not that bad of a show. Worth watching but sometimes don't hold too much faith in it I guess. (still deserving of 4.5 stars though- sorry if that's confusing)
I enjoyed the show and it's worth watching but.. there's a but. This show isn't the best thing to watch if the issue of suicide hits close to home for you, just be careful in watching it. I'll reiterate: Don't watch this if even a smidge of suicidal thoughts have passed your way, this show has moments that will freak you the fuck out. Even to the rest of people it'll be more disturbing than what you might've buckled yourself in for- just keep that in mind.
The character development throughout is pretty good, a bit slow at the start of the series but ends up being a show to pull an all nighter for once it picks up the pace and gets you more attached to the characters...
This was put together well but honestly I don't know if the English or the Japanese dub feels weirder, I guess if I had to choose between them I'd recommend to watch the Japanese dub first. Both versions feel strange for someone who's seen the original show but that can't be helped and they have done a reasonably good job of it.
death note was probably the best thing I've ever watched. It has awesome characters and stunning graphics/imagery ^ ^.
