A great cast highlights this show with a powerful performance from Viola Davis. I love when a show suprises me and keeps me guessing, and this show will do that to you over and over again.

This is the definitive sci-fi show, up there with Star Trek. Each episode has a bit of science fiction or horror mixed in with a message that never seems heavy-handed or preachy. Once you've watched each season, it becomes clearer and clearer where a lot of science fiction movies and television get their ideas from.

A bit of mystery with a supernatural feel, even if you can't quite be sure of that. Because sometimes I think of aliens, but that just might be me. The characters really pull you in as well. They kind of all have their own story, and we get glimpses of them throughout. It also has this quiet intense feeling about the show, and I enjoy every minute of it.
