Their acting is horrible! The actress idea of projecting emotions starts and ends with how much she can squint her eyes. As for the barkeep, apparently they told him to act as if he was constipated and nearsighted. Another thing, she keeps getting seriously injured and by now she should be resembling a pasta drainer but, surprise!. Also, the story seriously lacks a "fantasy" feel to it. It seems like there is no exciting quest nor a serious believable drama. As a matter of fact it feels closer to a comedy/parody. The only reason I watch it is because honestly I like fantasy and I have nothing else to watch that night.
Yeup, I dig it. It is completely different than anything I have ever seen. They are all indeed criminals, murderers, but at the same time there is goodness in them?? I like the complexity and the idea of a murderer society.
Pretty good show! I personally like that they kept the witches and the devil's association clear. It is not the benevolent secular witches of Vampire Diaries or Harry Potter. They are devil worshipers! However there is a magnificent balance between dark and humor. The only thing I did not like is way, WAY too much crying from Sabrina.
Fun, fun, fun! It's a show for the musicphiles. You could say it is a replacement for "Glee" but without the teen angst, more adult oriented and surprisingly deep.
I'm sorry but this show is getting progressively worst. It is too warped up in being MeToo Movement and feminist to the point of displacing man altogether. Not to mentioned that it murdered the original show's memory. The Elders are now all women who's morality is questionable (I'm sorry Elders were for all intent and purposes high angels). I am just hoping that in the new 'Charmed' they dial down the 'scientifically minded' sister , who's constant analysis is completely annoying, and that the lesbian (yes, they made one a lesbian) would shut up about the "patriarchy" and "strong women" sh1t. Also Harry's (the white lighter) power to teletransport FX looks exactly like Harry Potter apparating rather than 'angelic looking orbs'. I was so excited about this show. They had a chance to improve it and they killed it. Fire the writers.
It's one of those stories you don't want to watch because it is dark, sad and cruel. On the other hand the suspense compelles you to watch. We hurt along with him through his struggle to find truth, love and honor. It's not a happy story yet it shows you the lengths and the risks that someone is willing to take in the name of someone they truly love. This is a true love story encased in the world of espionage and murder.
We begin to feel bad for Ally because she genuinely seems like she went through a lot and still is. But her true colors always shine thru. Meanwhile, the PLL are starting to realize that Ally's games of lies and manipulation in order to protect herself -however misguided they might be- are going to continue. As a result they are closer than ever to come clean. Finally, Melissa seems to have reach a breaking point and decides to tell Spencer all.
This episode seem to have recapture my attention. The writers have brought back that uncertainty the show had before and made it suspenseful.
Season 2 chapter 4 is among the best story lines I have watch this year, simply amazing, watch it. We have a show that deals with the complexities of being human. It's not about becoming super heroes, it's how their painful life experiences have scarred them and the importance of family love. These in turn play a huge part in their abilities. All the characters have a somewhat painful back story and a less than perfect present life this makes the show very human. I am impressed with this story I hope they keep it going.
P.S.
The finale of season 2 is completely heart breaking, painful to watch. Goes without saying that Missi Pyle (mom) and Maddie Hasson (Henry) are very talented actresses.
I had high hopes for this show and then I watched it. The acting is ok but it's real problem is the script and, believe it or not, the post production. The script seems very amateurish with no mystery or complexity. There is nothing for the audience to figure out it's all just given to them. I never noticed the post production of a show ever in my life but here I did. Scenes linger too long focusing on an expression or just ... I don't know, filling up space I guess. Plus there is always, ALWAYS, this annoying music in the background. It's a shame because it has some nice sets and FX.
So I managed to survive my stupified reaction to the stupid 'movements' of the first season. I brought myself to watch the second season and was thrilled that the writers moved away from 'the movements'. Instead I got a giant freaking octopus that speaks to her with an Asian accent thru a weird ritual while on stage. It is beyond me how this show gets such high ratings! Fire the writers for god's sake!
