I started watching this show because I'm fan of Freema Agyeman. It started out pretty good, compelling, interesting, and made me care about the characters. It was always a little too agenda driven to make it one of my favorite shows. Season 4 has been a massive disappointment. Every episode so far has been a blunt hammer, beating you over the head, jumping from one social justice problem to the next, with only the barest attention paid to characters and an overreaching plot line. It's made watching feel more like a homework assignment, with no entertainment value left. There are much better med dramas -- I recommend The Resident. Still addresses issues, but in a thoughful way rather than lecturing.
