I grew up on watching TV Shows of the 50s,60s& 70s ! I spent more time in the 80's working & Partying to watch as much tv as listening to radio. I also grew up on the Radio stations of NYC in the late 50s&60s , which taught me Music also.I love Sex,Drugs & R&R but don't abuse anyone or anything , Just saying !
A really good look at what may have been one of the big influences on the sexual revolution in the USA and the world ,especially the Women's Movement !
Informative CIA story based on real events , once again good cast performance ,although the Russians always seem a bit much , even as actors!
Interesting and worth the time , when you consider the world was probably safer during the COLD WAR then it is with how Mother Russia is lead & divided up these days !
Once again TOP CHEF delivers brilliant Chefs competing Head to Head in the opening rounds , I just wish that the Judges wouldn't have an idea of who cooked what , cause sometimes I feel they have a slight favoritism to one Chef's personality from the past over the other chef ! I think , another Chef should announce to the judges , the Competing Chefs descriptions ! I don't think knowing who cooked what from the descriptions are needed , until after the voting is Done ! All in all , looking forward to seeing the great line-up of Chefs. I also think adding a way for a Chef to return via the Knockout , as many shows have enacted now , is good for the shows. Many Chef's exit , because we know anyone can have a bad day in the kitchen and I think its good they get a shot at redemption !
I knew a Doctor in Norfolk , Va, who was just like this in the 70s !
He went on to establish a free clinic ,with the money he made off of rich
people , who needed their Doctor to be very , shall we say discreet !
So this show is reminding me of him ! Plus , the cast does a good job of playing their parts of Rush's colleagues ( including his dealer ! ) and his patients ! Definitely worth your time !
So FAR So Funny ! You hear me Lord , I hope you have a sense of Humor ,
the Bros have made a funny TV show about your 2nd Coming !
Although it contains strong language Dear Heavenly Father ,
The Soul brother playing your Son , tries to lead his Brothers & Sisters
in a Peaceful manner , in a Violent World , amid Poverty !
Much like the Native American Tribes before the Caucasians & Latinos
came to LA , they constantly are smoking the Peace Pipe using Zig-Zag papers , instead of the Corn Cob Pipes of Yesteryear's
Mea Culpa , Mea Culpa , Mea maxima Culpa , Ah-men or is it A- Men !
Cute but too many annoying type characters , the kind you just want to push the delete button on , so their mouths stop moving and you vote them off not just the show but your memory too! You know , the kind of person that just gets under your skin , they think their being caring & witty , when they are really freaky & shitey....like this review !
I keep watching it but it is so freaking strange ,I just hope at some point it might make more sense! I understand the event that has occured but don't quite get all the people's reactionary attitudes towards it.
The best thing about the show was Robin Williams ! RiP
Call me Old Fashioned , but i love the scary old style jump out and bite you Vampire type stories of which The Strain has brought to the most sequel-led Monster of all-time ! Good to see Corey with some hair , playing our hero CDC Doctor & the old man who is the Van helsing type character of the show ! Just hope they can put enough twists in this old tale to keep us watching , but so-far so -good !
The first episode grabs your curiosity with some interesting twists , that pretty much tells you , there is more going on here then just an open & shut case of the Jury finding the defendant guilty of this horrific crime. Lets hope the writers keep us intrigued in the following episodes !
